Graduating from Captain Shreve and getting her bachelor's in Criminal Justice from LSUS, Kristina's first career was with DHS and was only semi-fulfilling. It wasn't until her friend needed PT after a rotator cuff repair that Kristina even considered getting into physical therapy. Helping her friend regain her independence lit the PT spark in Kristina's mind.
In 2021, Kristina applied and got into the highly competitive PTA-AAS program at BPCC. Being able to help other people regain or maintain their independence was her new life goal! Luckily, her last clinical rotation was at Function First and the rest was history!
In her free time, Kristina enjoys watching birds, a little home gardening, vacations with her husband, and spoiling her nieces and nephew.
