Krisha was born in Cebu, Philippines and moved to the United States in 2012 with her twin brother and mother. At only 16 years old, Krisha and her twin brother graduated from C.E. Byrd High School in 2014. She then attended Louisiana State University in Shreveport where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Community Health with Pre-PT concentration in May of 2018. While in college, Krisha became heavily involved as a Student Ambassador, New Student Orientation Leader and became an officer in numerous school organizations such as International Student Association (ISA), Kinesiology Club, and Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED) Honor Society.
In the later part of May 2018, Krisha started graduate school at LSU-Health Sciences Center in Shreveport where she obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree in May of 2021. Since then, she has worked in skilled nursing facilities, outpatient, acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings. Krisha has also had a short stint as a travel therapist. During that stint, she became certified in Dry Needling for both upper and lower extremities. She plans to add more certifications in the future. Krisha is also a current member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Louisiana Physical Therapy Board (LAPTB).
Krisha was actually a patient at Function First in Shreveport in 2020 and has done a full 180 working as a therapist for their Bossier clinic. Krisha is married to another therapist (PTA - Matthew Holland) and they have two dogs: Maya, an 8 y/o Siberian Husky, and Han, a 1 y/o German Shepherd. Krisha enjoys thrifting, gardening, working out and going to Pilates. She also loves to travel and has a goal to visit all 50 states. She hopes to add more international trips for both her and her husband. Fun fact: She speaks fluent Tagalog, Bisaya and English. She can also read and write in Korean.
