Jonathan Shows was born in Cheyenne, WY and raised in Bossier City, LA. He was brought up in a military family, moving to the Shreveport/Bossier area before his 3 rd birthday. Jonathan graduated from Airline High School in 2014 and was a member of his high school football team as well as the Junior Mudbugs. His passion for weightlifting and other sports left him with a great intrigue for the intricacies of how the human body moves and ways to improve upon those movements leading to him to pursue a Physical Therapy Assistant, AAS.
Jonathan received his Physical Therapist Assistant, AAS from Bossier Parish Community College and has been a licensed PTA since 2019. Jonathan has had clinical experiences in short and long term acute care as well as outpatient settings and is committed to helping each one of his patients achieve their mobility goals with a hands on, pain free approach. Since becoming a PTA he has worked with a variety of patients with chronic pain, acute injuries, sports related injuries, scoliosis and other dysfunctions of the spine, sacroiliac dysfunction, and neurological deficits including strokes, MS, Parkinson’s, and various neuropathies.
In his free time Jonathan enjoys hunting, fishing, and olympic weightlifting, as well as learning and reading about new techniques and interventions to help improve the quality of life of those he works with and cares for.
