Donald Allison received his Associate of Applied Science Degree for Physical Therapy Assistant from Bossier Parish Community College (BPCC). He has been practicing for 10 years and has experience in outpatient rehab, home health, skilled nursing and inpatient rehab. He has focused his continuing education on conservative intervention for chronic pain including spine injuries and scoliosis. He, specializes in foot/gait mechanics particularly the role the foot plays in molding movements patterns. He has received his certification for Functional Movement Taping level 1 and 2. Currently, he is pursuing a CNP to become a Certified Neurac Provider.
Donald is a partner at Function First Physical Therapy. Finding unique and innovative ways to help his patients is his passion. He works tirelessly researching and blending different approaches to improve body movement in order to reduce pain and help patients reach a sustainable physical level. He resides in Shreveport, Louisiana with his wife Junice and daughters Adiel who is 10 and Liora who was just born.
